Welcome to the NUE website. NUE stands for Nanotechnology
Undergraduate Education and is first and foremost a new medium for
providing collegiate students with a general understanding about the
new technologies on the nano scale. We accomplish this by beginning
to utilize the new and exciting science of nanotechnology into
classes at the University of South Carolina. The students are
progressively provided such education by a) incorporating
nanotechnology-related readings into English 102 classes primarily
for first-year students and b) creating new classes in the areas of
Environmental Studies, Philosophy, and Speech.
