Welcome

The NanoCenter at the University of South Carolina is focused on research in five strategic areas: Polymer Nanocomposites, Nanoelectronics, Nanobiotechnology, Nanocatalysis and scholarly work in the societal, epistemological and ethical dimensions of nanotechnologies. We engage in cutting-edge basic science and engineering studies, education and public outreach to advance knowledge and promote the development of a knowledge-based economy in South Carolina. We encourage multidisciplinary team efforts within the University of South Carolina as well as collaborations on a state, national and international level.
